I'm not sure about Pepe's red mostly because I was cringeing with embarrassment at Dani making such a scandal of it, but it could've gone both ways. Even if it had been only a yellow, chances are Pepe would've got himself sent off anyway...

And I agree with you on Madrid's tactics. Unfortunately, football success doesn't always go to the 'deserving'...
