Hee, well, you should go around with the biggest, goofiest grin and be immensely proud of what you've written because this is a masterpiece! I just read it again and I'm even more in love with it (if that is at all possible) because I noticed so many new things that I completely missed when I was all SDKFLJSDF during my first read. (Of course, those new things made me go all SDFKLJSDf again, so a third read might be a good idea. XD)
Honestly, if it was hard for you to write this, it doesn't show in the slightest. The sentences flow so well, and the build-up is fantastic, the tension rising with every sentence until the bomb explodes in Diego's flat and it gets all hot and heavy. ;) I really don't see what you could have been insecure about. :)
There are so many things about your characterizations that I didn't mention in my first post, the loneliness they share even though they're not alone, the part where they walk to Diego's car and Martín can't resist touching him, the paragraph about them finding each other after having wanted each other for so long, the fact that they're not willing to admit it's love even though it's so obvious that it is... I could go on and on and on. <3
and the dancefloor, damn it, Martín had *me* hot and bothered, if I'd been Forlán I'd have ravished him there and then! XD Oh God, me too. I have no clue how you could have written this without dying repeatedly. Ah, the mental images! I think I need a cold shower now!
Oh dear, that is a lot of credit you're giving me here - not sure I deserve all this! But I shall not get into a huge discussion about that now but instead focus on Bojan/Canales, mmmmmmh. I know I owe you fic with this pairing, and I shall remember it! My life is about to become a bit quieter now and as soon as I have a bit of time I'll think about something to write. (You do want smut, right? ;))
LOL, yes, the fact that it actually could have happened like this makes the whole issue even more hilarious. I have a great mental image right now of Camoranesi and Martín standing in front of the mirror and Camoranesi telling him something along the lines of, "And now you do this, and this, and then you have the hair of a world champion." XDDDD
